Megan (nutmeg) and Maymay (REW) both gave birth on the same day ;D Megan (nutmeg gal) + Squirrel (agouti boy) = 7 pups This is her before birth:  DAY 1: 7 pups! 1 is a non-black eyed   |

Maymay (REW gal) + Marvin (black spotted boy) = 5 pups (1 died so left 4) This is Maymay before birth   DAY 1 : 4 pups! (didnt take the 4th cuz it popped out after i took this picture  )  |

Like a box or something so that they feel safe. And you shouldn't go right away to 'nest' and start taking pictures (as u said that the 4th wasn't born yet) and give that mother some time to be alone with her babies. |

i think its all about the mama gerbil n the owner. if u r close enought with ur pets, u can see they r happy to see u even they r giving birth.
n especially they r gerbils, their human is always welcome. stranger is not allow to touch. cos they bring difference smell.

i was at eggtofu's hse last nite. she does give every mum a huge bowl for her n the pups but i saw in my own eyes, the mums dragged the pups out in a corner. n each time eggtofu brings the pups bk, they will drag the pups out again. ;D i guessed we cant do much n force the mums n pups to stay still in the bowls, isnt it?
