Ever having problems of sand bathes becoming a potty?
Feels yucky to use it as both!
My gerbs used to do that...till I added a little baby powder into the sand.....they love the smell and never pooped in it again!Try it and Good Luck! ;D

i used 2 give dem a sand bowl in their tanks until i realised they kicked out most of it. in the end, all tanks look so messy n dusty.
now i used small tanks n pour in sand enuf for dem to roll in n dig. everyday, they will b out for sand bathing ;D

I use a small tray for their sand bath, they dont really kick but they lose interest after a while and try to get out

some they love sand bath, some dirty fela like my kumi the agouti he don't like.. he go in n poo..

Yea, only Pecan likes it. keith is another anti bath fella. Maybe all crazymouse babies are like that? She didnt teach them to take bath.... haha, just kidding!  |

hahahha Kumi take quite a long time only figure out he need to bath.. hahahha...but now he do it once awhile... then i found there is a white spotted behind his neck after bath..

hey hey, so long time didnt come over here already.... mostly jus play lowyat there.... about the sand bath rite, mine one, mostly jus poo inside the sand bath there.... also dunno why like that one its normal they do that, so either u keep the sand 24 hours inside the tank, n change every 2 - 3 days, or u just put in everyday for 10 mins... then u can clean n recycle the sand.. so not so costly.. |
