I just redid my tanks. Latest toys are the hidy logs I got a few weeks ago and today, a hanging coconut shell. Gerbils are enjoying them loads. All digging and chasing and exploring over the new toys and also after I rearrange their home.  3 gerbils are in this 1.5ft tank. I'm gonna upgrade to a 2ft tank next month.  A colony of 5 in this 2ft tank. |

I like the hanging thing, so far I have not gotten to modifying my coconut husks yet. So far only dried one, I left it in the sun for 1 week +, haha. maybe I'll dry another tomorrow.

The coconut really was a sudden buy. Coz I was at Pet Safari, then saw this nice big one loh.... harder than the one I got so I thought might as well get one and see how they like a hanging one since I always give them normal ones on the ground hahha...
They love it and it makes the tank look lovely. But Rm7.60 loh.....

how small is that box with red roof?

But what are the others? i mean lenght,width and height? I can then calculate does your gerbils live in too small boxex. You know, there are minimum sizes too  And it's illegal to keep in too small boxes.. So that's why iam asking  Not to make you angry |

I don't have pics yet, but I can take with my rubbish mobilephone some,but those are not that good then. And it takes about week to get those pics to net, cuz my bluetooth is in my parent's house :/ . At this moment I have 4 tanks. first is 70 lenght *35 width * 40 height, and there lives 2 gerbils, Allu and Minttu. Allu is 3 and half years old and Minttu is three years. 2nd is 80 * 35 * 40 and there lives 2 gerbils, Heinäsirkka and her daughter 3rd is 101 * 51 * 41 and there lives 2 gerbils, Narcissa Narayan and Chokuro. My male gerbils are right now in that 3rd, splitted cage cuz the another male is a mate for Narcissa. When Iam sure,that Narcissa is pregnant, males go to their own tank, which is the same size as that 2nd is.
