Hi all,

Duchess (Black/Slate.....I think she's slate) and Chubbie (Dove) had their first little on Feb... they are 3 weeks now...

I thought I had 2 Blacks but now I doubt they are Blacks.... the have grey undercoats and look lovely dark choco in the sunlight...

The other pup is white.... I checked her eyes and no "blue" was seen.... anyway... her eyes looked rather pink.

Can u help to confirm? I have lots of pics n captions in the link above.... All pics taken under sunlight.

Hi Joey,
Is Duchess that male?
If Chubbie is dove (aa pp Cc ^h) and Duchess black ( aa ) the pups would be only blacks.
And if Duchess is slate (aa gg), then the pups would be still blacks.
So either the pup is 'bad' black (mine Chokuro was too that colour when she was young) or your Chubbie is not dove : D

Ofcourse it can also depend of their grandparent's colours.

from calculation, if slate X dove, their pups will be 37.5% Black, 25% Dove, 12.5% for Lilac, DTW n PEW. so the pup will still be blackies. hmmm y choco?

bull lover, I was wondering how did you calculate to get those colours?
cuz I didn't get others than just black *blushing*

But it's great that pup's colour is now known ; )
