i think smelly like hay, the smell of hay is nice right? hahaha... they r almost no smell, not like hammi or guine pig. cos they don't drink much, so don't pee much too.

I only smell them when I stick my head in the tank, and if the bedding has not been changed for at least 1 week ...haha.

i think in canada with the cooler weather, they can stand for longer time.
