Should be ok. One shouldn't sand bath when she needs to nurse the litter... Well, that's how I think coz when we sand bath when she already has her litter, her fur would have those sand dust particles and I'm just scared that the pups may ingest or inhale it.

pregnant mum is ok to hv sand bath, if u really want to let a nursing mum to hv her bath, make sure the SAND particles is not the fine one. n after the sand bath, let her run around around 5 mins b4 she go to the pups.
so far mine all ok.

Well , i have given it a thought. Since Kaya is nearing her due date, i've decided to let her mate have a sand bath. I'll let her have a sand bath with her pups when they are weaned.
