Wohooo !!!! The first pup has been born !!! i'm so happy !!! I feel like a great grand father already !!!
I was listening to a hindi song. The song was about living without someone. I immediately thought about Kaya's pregnancy. When i ran into the gerbil room, i saw kaya stretching abnormally... I quickly took my handphone, and recorded it. after 3 mins, she popped one pup out !!! I controlled myself from screaming happily.... hehe... The pup came out with her hind feet 1st. I was a bit worried . My cousin's pair gave birth to 4/6 pups hind feet first and all were still born... Anyways, the pup is alive. *relieved*... The pup is huge, btw.
Kaya's being an extremely good mom for a 1st timer. She immediately cleaned him and is still doin so. She didn't let Mazuri lick the pup 1st... how cute... I think its all in the genes. Kaya is the 4th generation of good moms...
The pup is black eyed and doin well.
Will update when all pups are out.

3rd pup is a red eyed !!!!!!! I'm super happy now... Got chance for red fox already !!!! I'm *d**n* happy !!!!!!!

4 pups in total. All are fine. No deaths.
Pup1 : Black eyed(biggest)
Pup2 : Black eyed(medium)
Pup3 : Red eyed (medium)
Pup4 : Black eyed(smallest) born late, 2.30pm.

Hi again,
Well, I'll try to get their pics when they have their fuzz or when they open their eyes.
Anyways, There's 1 confirmed Pied Black, 1 Black(i'm not sure if its spotted or not) , 1 nutmeg ? (i hope so) and 1 Lilac/Red Fox... I'm hoping for a red fox tho....

sure, when the pups open their eyes, i'll post pictures... They're the cutest at that stage... hehe....
Oh and I think the red fox is carrying the mottled gene ... yippee.. it looks like she has a small patch of white on her back... maybe i can breed her for mottleds ... hehe.. have to wait until the fur comes to confirm...
