One of my lilac fosters has a sore nose from chewing at cage bars and the other has a crusty and red stump where the tail was. They are now in my spare tank.
I cant bandage the tail because only the stump is left, any ideas on preventing the gerbil from licking and nibbling at its stump? After I apply iodine the gerbil does some sort of body twisting stunt and licks its tail and makes it bleed again.
