Last night I changed all the shavings and put Pixie in with Pecan and her kids. Previously it was Anya that attacked Pixie and gave her a nasty bite mark, but yesterday they were all cool with each other although a lot of humping and grooming went on.
This morning I woke to see Pixie chasing Anko all over the tank, they were not fightin but chasing a lot, and anko kept squeaking. I took Anko out and saw that she had multiple small bite wounds all over, and she was whimpering a lot.
Anko is the only gerbil smaller than in size than Pixie, although she is almost 3 months old, I guess Pixie was bullying her.
I guess Pixie cant be with my girls after all, she is a rather dominant little girl, now at 2 months old. and keeps trying to hump everyone else. I'm sure she might try to harm Pecan's future litters too when they come. Now still thinking where am I going to put her...
